True Velocity — Privacy Policy

True Velocity ("the App") is developed by David Picknell. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App on iPhone.

Privacy first: True Velocity does not collect, store, track, or transmit your personal data. GPS is used only to calculate real-time speed on your device.

Location Data

True Velocity uses your device’s GPS (Core Location) to calculate your current speed.

Location data is processed in real time on your device and is not stored, not transmitted, and not shared.

The App does not record route history, travel logs, or background location data.

Data Collection

True Velocity does not collect personal data. No names, email addresses, location history, device identifiers, or usage analytics are collected by the developer.

Local Processing

All speed calculations and filtering (including adaptive filtering) are performed locally on your device.

No external servers are used.

Analytics & Tracking

True Velocity does not use analytics services, advertising frameworks, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs.

No behavioural data, crash analytics, or usage statistics are collected.

In-App Purchase

True Velocity includes a seven-day trial period. After the trial ends, a one-time purchase is required to unlock continued use.

All payments are processed securely by Apple through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. The developer does not receive or store your payment information.

Apple’s handling of payment information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No accounts or personal identification are required to use the App.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
