Fuelled UK is a fuel tracking app for iPhone designed for UK drivers. It lets you log fuel fill-ups across multiple vehicles and tracks your MPG, cost per litre, and fuel spending over time with clear charts and history. It can also store each vehicle's MOT, tax, and insurance expiry dates and send optional reminders before they are due.
No. Your fuel entries, vehicle details, and usage data stay on your device and in your private iCloud account. The app does not share your data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.
Fuelled UK calculates MPG using UK imperial gallons (1 imperial gallon = 4.546 litres). MPG is derived from the difference in odometer readings between fill-ups divided by the litres used. US gallons are not used anywhere in the app.
Tap the vehicle selector bar on the home screen and select "Add Vehicle" from the dropdown, or go to Manage Vehicles. Enter a name or identifier and choose the fuel type (Petrol or Diesel).
Tap "Add Fuel" on the home screen. Enter the litres purchased, your current odometer reading in miles, and the total price paid in GBP. The app automatically calculates your MPG and cost per litre.
Yes. Go to the History screen. Swipe an entry to edit or delete it. Deletions require confirmation before they are applied.
The MPG Chart shows your fuel efficiency per fill-up and a running average over time, with each vehicle as a separate colour-coded line. The Cost Per Litre Chart tracks fuel price trends over time, split by fuel type (Petrol and Diesel).
Yes. Each vehicle can store its MOT, vehicle tax, and insurance expiry dates. Tap a vehicle in Manage Vehicles to open the renewal sheet, where you can set or clear each expiry date. Manage Vehicles shows a colour-coded summary so you can see at a glance what is due soon, what is fine, and what has expired.
Reminders are optional and off by default. In a vehicle's renewal sheet you can switch on "renewal reminders," which asks for notification permission. Once enabled, Fuelled UK schedules local notifications at 9:00 AM one month before, two weeks before, one week before, and one day before each MOT, tax, and insurance expiry date you have set. Reminders are scheduled on your device and no data leaves it. You can turn reminders off again at any time.
Yes. Your MOT, tax, and insurance expiry dates sync across your devices via iCloud (CloudKit), the same as your vehicles and fuel entries. Note that notification permission and the scheduled reminders themselves are specific to each device — if you reinstall the app or set up a new device, your dates will reappear, but you may need to switch reminders back on so the new device can schedule its own notifications.
Yes. Fuelled UK uses iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your vehicles and fuel entries across all your devices signed into the same Apple ID. The app works offline and syncs when a connection is available.
No separate account is required. Fuelled UK works entirely on your device. iCloud sync happens automatically if you are signed into iCloud.
Fuelled UK includes a seven-day free trial. After the trial ends, a one-time lifetime purchase is required to continue using the app. There are no subscriptions. Payments are processed securely by Apple through In-App Purchase. The developer does not receive your payment details.
Deleting a vehicle permanently removes it and all its associated fill-up history from your device and from iCloud. This cannot be undone, and the data will not resync on reinstall or device switch.
Fuelled UK supports iPhone running iOS 18.0 or later.
