Summary: Copy Tiles does not collect analytics and does not track you. Your tiles and settings sync via your private iCloud account (CloudKit). Clipboard history stays on-device and is not synced.

1. Data we collect

Copy Tiles does not collect personal data for analytics or advertising. There are no third-party analytics SDKs and no tracking.

2. Data you create

The app stores the content you enter, such as:

Tiles (title and body text)
Categories
Tile order and appearance
App and keyboard settings

3. iCloud sync (CloudKit)

Copy Tiles uses Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your tiles, categories, tile order, appearance and settings across devices signed into the same Apple ID.

CloudKit data is stored in your private iCloud account. Copy Tiles does not operate its own servers for syncing.

4. Keyboard extension and “Allow Full Access”

Copy Tiles includes a custom keyboard extension. iOS provides an option called Allow Full Access for keyboards.

In Copy Tiles, Full Access is used to enable keyboard-side refresh for iCloud sync and clipboard history. If Full Access is not enabled, iCloud sync still works when you open the main app.

5. Clipboard history

Copy Tiles can display recent clipboard content in the keyboard.

Clipboard history is stored on-device.
Clipboard content is not synced via iCloud.
Clipboard history refreshes when the app or keyboard opens.

6. What we do not do

No keystroke logging.
No tracking across apps or websites.
No selling or sharing personal data with third parties.
No advertising identifiers.
No third-party analytics.

7. Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. Copy Tiles does not receive your payment details.
